Product Questions

What is AntiSlip Gel?

AntiSlip Gel is a DIY floor treatment designed to help improve traction on slippery hard surfaces. It is suitable for common floor materials such as ceramic tiles, porcelain, marble, stone, and concrete.

Once applied, the treatment helps increase surface grip and reduce slip risk in wet areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, pool surrounds, and commercial spaces.

How does AntiSlip Gel work?

AntiSlip Gel works by interacting with the floor surface at a nano level to improve traction. This increases the ground friction coefficient of the surface, helping reduce slip risk when the floor is wet.

It does this without leaving a visible coating or changing the overall appearance of the floor.

Does AntiSlip Gel change the appearance of my floor?

In most cases, there is no visible change. AntiSlip Gel works at a microscopic level and does not leave behind a coating, residue, or textured film.

On some highly polished surfaces, there may be a slight change in sheen, but the original look of the floor is generally maintained.

Does the floor feel rough after application?

No. The floor should still feel smooth underfoot. The traction improvement happens at a microscopic level and is designed to improve grip without creating a rough or abrasive finish.

How long does AntiSlip Gel last?

Depending on traffic levels, cleaning habits, and surface type, the treatment can last up to 3–5 years before reapplication may be needed.

High-traffic commercial areas may require more frequent application than residential spaces.

Application & Use

How do I apply AntiSlip Gel?

Applying AntiSlip Gel is simple:

  • Clean and dry the surface thoroughly
  • Apply the gel evenly across the floor
  • Allow it to sit for 10–15 minutes
  • Rinse thoroughly with clean water

The full process usually takes less than 20 minutes and requires no special tools.

Do I need professional installation?

No. AntiSlip Gel is designed as a simple DIY solution and can be applied by most homeowners, maintenance teams, or trade professionals.

How much area does one bottle cover?

Coverage depends on bottle size and surface type.

  • 300ml bottle: up to approximately 5 m²
  • 600ml bottle: up to approximately 10 m²

More porous surfaces may require slightly more product.

Can I clean my floors normally after applying it?

Yes. Once the treatment has been applied and rinsed, you can clean your floors as normal using standard household cleaning products.

Keeping the surface clean helps maintain the anti-slip effect over time.
